Hello,
Here are the steps to retrieve your Super Stacker II progress
In this example we are copying the file “tgh-ss2d.sol” on your hard drive to a new location. That is the local file on your hard drive where Super Stacker II saves your progress. Like all Flash games, the file is in a folder whose name corresponds to the website where you played the game. You must copy it from the old website location to the new one, as follows:
Copy the tgh-ss2d.sol file from:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\Z8KSZMKU\media1.thegamehomep age.com\swf\superstacker2.swf\tgh-ss2d.sol
Paste it to:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\Z8KSZMKU\www.super-stacker.com\superstacker2.swf\tgh-ss2d.sol
Except that "YOUR USER NAME " will be your user name on your computer, and the " Z8KSZMKU" will be some other random letter sequence, but it should be the only subfolder under "#SharedObjects". If there are multiple folders then try the ones with the most recent date(s) first. (***)
Once you have copied the file over, go to http://www.super-stacker.com., and once the game loads, use Ctrl+F5 to clear and refresh your browser.
That’s it!
(***) Also, the "media1.thegamehomepage.com" folder may be different if you have used a different URL to access the Super Stacker II Game, such as www.kongregate.com or any of several other working variants or forwarded URL's. Just look for the same name as the website name you have been using when you play Super Stacker II.
(***) You may have to modify your folder options to make these system folders visible when you browse with your file explorer. You can change these settings in the Windows file Explorer through the "Tools\Folder Options…" menu. Select the "View" tab on the "Folder Options" dialogue and change two options:
1. On the "View" tab in the "Advanced settings" area, select the "Files and Folders/Hidden files and folders/Show hidden files and folders" option.
2. On the "View" tab in the "Advanced settings" area un-check the "Files and Folders/Hide extensions for known file types" checkbox.
